Neal Pollock entered the patent profession in 2008, working in-house for Tata Steel in the Netherlands, and joined Wilson Gunn in 2014. He is a qualified Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney.
Neal is experienced in drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the UK Intellectual Property Office, European Patent Office and internationally. His practice covers a broad range of technical fields including materials science, polymer chemistry, surface chemistry, renewable energy, additive manufacturing, pesticides, coatings, carbon nanomaterials, textiles, filtration and construction.
Neal also handles patent oppositions and advises on potential infringements.
He was awarded a Ph.D. for his research into the synthesis and immobilisation of PAMAM dendrons for catalytic and protein binding applications.
Neal also advises on copyright and design matters and has particular experience in advising on the infringement and validity of design rights.
